Mr. Babur Suhail
Mr. Babur Suhail is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley and has a rich corporate experience along with active litigation appearance before all Courts in Pakistan. He specializes in commercial and constitutional litigation, including diverse subject matters such as Telecommunications, IT, Cyber laws, Power, Banking, Taxation, Privatization, and Competition law. Mr. Babur has undertaken extensive corporate consultancy and advisory work for reputable organizations such as, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and other government agencies. Previously, Mr. Babur Suhail has also been Head of Legal Affairs of Pakistan’s largest telecommunication company and was responsible for establishing their legal department. During his time there he managed and supervised over 100 external legal counsels/law firms handling over 600 cases. As Head of Legal Affairs he also managed issuance of first ever Pakistan corporate bond of USD 250 Million and its partial buyback, and acquisition of offshore financing of USD 700 million that brought ECA backed financing to Pakistan for the first time after 1998.
