Abdul Qadir Mirza

Abdul Qadir Mirza completed his law graduation from Hamdard School of Law at Karachi, finishing top of his class. He joined the Firm in 2011, since then he has been fully involved in the Firm’s practice. He was also deputed to H&A’s client, namely, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) for a 1-year period where he engaged in their internal affairs to get a better understanding of their nature of work with an in-depth experience of the corporate and legal affairs. Mr Abdul Qadir is an all rounder and handle all legal aspects of the Firm, specializing in matters of Civil Litigations, Family law, Criminal Bails, and matter pertaining to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Hanif Faisal Alam
LLB Honours (University of Kent, United Kingdom)

Hanif Faisal Alam, comes from a family of jurists, himself being the 5th Generation in his family. He graduated with a 2(1) degree of LLB with Honours from the University of Kent, England. Hanif has also gained rich and diverse work experience at distinguished multinational organizations such as Taylor Wessing, a top international UK law firm, and ENVESTORS MENA a multinational Private Equity firm. Hanif has also received accreditation for Mediation from the National Centre for Dispute Resolution (NCDR) and has participated in various workshops at distinguished organisations such as Clifford Chance and University of Law, London.

Muhammad Ismail Khan

Muhammad Ismail Khan is currently reading law at the Le’cole University, Karachi, and is enrolled in the University of London External Program. Ismail is a bright young individual and works as a Para Legal. He is involved in Research and Drafting.

Tariq Saeed

Tariq Saeed has over 20 years of experience of handling all kinds of corporate / commercial matters and managing litigation. He is an expert on the legal aspects of the downstream Oil and Gas sector. Before becoming a part of the H&A Team, he was the Company Secretary and Legal Head for a leading multi-national Oil Marketing Company in Pakistan and was lastly the General Manager Legal for the largest state-owned Oil Marketing Company. Over the course of his career he has successfully handled numerous high value corporate transactions and has led several industry initiatives. Mr. Saeed is also an IFC accredited Mediator as well as a PICG certified trainer on Corporate Governance and Director’s Duties & Responsibilities.

Ayeshah Alam

Ayeshah Alam also comes from a distinguished legal background and is the 5th generation in her family to be pursuing law. She graduated in 2018 from the University of Queen Mary, a top tier law school in the United Kingdom.

Alina Zubair
LLB Honours (School of Law, University of Karachi - Gold Medalist)

Alina is an accomplished Law graduate from the School of Law- University of Karachi, with a strong academic record and Gold medal in co-curricular activities. She is a skilled legal professional with experience in the field, she has gained exceptional proficiency in case strategy, problem solving, analytical skills, and courtroom advocacy. Alina navigates a diverse range of practice areas, including: Family Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Civil Litigation and Corporate Law.

Abdul Qadeer Naich

Mr. Salim Ur Rehman

Mr. Salim Ur Rahman, a senior and seasoned lawyer, stationed at Islamabad, is now part of H&A as external counsel for looking after litigation of the firm at all levels of the judiciary including the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He handles litigation of the firm in Islamabad and Lahore

Mr. Babur Suhail

Mr. Babur Suhail is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley and has a rich corporate experience along with active litigation appearance before all Courts in Pakistan. He specializes in commercial and constitutional litigation, including diverse subject matters such as Telecommunications, IT, Cyber laws, Power, Banking, Taxation, Privatization, and Competition law. Mr. Babur has undertaken extensive corporate consultancy and advisory work for reputable organizations such as, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and other government agencies. Previously, Mr. Babur Suhail has also been Head of Legal Affairs of Pakistan’s largest telecommunication company and was responsible for establishing their legal department. During his time there he managed and supervised over 100 external legal counsels/law firms handling over 600 cases. As Head of Legal Affairs he also managed issuance of first ever Pakistan corporate bond of USD 250 Million and its partial buyback, and acquisition of offshore financing of USD 700 million that brought ECA backed financing to Pakistan for the first time after 1998.
